LDBM at China-Europa Forum

Gala PARICHEVA, partner at the LDBM law firm, has been invited by the China-Europa Forum (http://www.china-europa-forum.net) to give a lecture during a workshop dedicated to intellectual property that will take place in Guangzhou (China) from July 9th to 11th 2010. She’ll tackle the following subject:

“Intellectual property and business: - role of intellectual property in the development of companies - management of intellectual property”

This workshop will aim at presenting why intellectual property rights represent an innovation engine within the companies, the negative consequences generated by these rights and the necessity for companies to value them. The workshop will also be the opportunity to mention the similarities and differences between European and Chinese intellectual property rights.

The China-Europa Forum is a new society-to-society dialog process between China and the European countries gathering together representatives of all sectors and of all socioprofessional backgrounds that share their experience about issues that are common to our contemporary societies. These continuous debates take place on the Internet and also during biennial meetings organized alternately in China and in Europe.

The plenary session will take place at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University from July 12th to 14th, 2010.
